Workshop for drumming and dancing, singing and xylophone Feel the heartbeat of Africa, even if dancing and drumming are new to you – just lose yourself in the unity of music and movement. Try it out! The KASAPA workshop leaders are excellent musicians and dancers, they are happy to teach beginners or advanced students. Small teaching groups with different levels meet the needs of all participants.
The program:
Four to five days of lessons per week with 2 hours of drumming /percussion or (by arrangement when booking 1 hour of xylophone playing or drumming with bamboo chimes). 1 ½ hours of dancing, The dance lessons are always accompanied by a full drum orchestra.
On two days per week there is also 1 hour of singing/rhythm. Anyone who would like to extend this program can book additional individual lessons on site (approx. 6 – 10 EUR per hour).
Performance of a professional dance and drum formation
Big party with friends and employees of the KASAPA project
By arrangement a day trip to Accra

Two-day trip along the west coast of Ghana to the fishing town of Elmina with its famous Portuguese trading and slave fortress:
Usually an overnight stay in the jungle in a well-secured tree house in Kakum National Park (otherwise in a nearby hotel); the next morning, hanging bridge walk in the jungle treetops and forest nature trail; on request, museum visit and handicraft market in Cape Coast (in the second week)
In the third week, an excursion to the cocoa farming village of Mesomagor, about 1½ hours north of Cape Coast (two overnight stays). Mesomagor has a great dance group, a bamboo orchestra and a delightful storytelling evening full of traditional stories – pure village life! (1 or 2 days of lessons are cancelled for this village excursion.)
