4 | Tuesday | Kakum Treehouse or possibly a hotel nearby | Half board | After Elmina (14 km): Slave trading castle, picturesque fishing town. Return to Cape Coast for dinner, then continue to Kakum National Park (total approx. 47 km). |
5 | Wednesday | Beach hotel in/or near Axim | Half board | Early morning: Treetop walk over suspension bridges, high among the tall rainforest trees of Kakum National Park, followed by an approximately one-hour nature trail with an expert guide. Then to Cape Coast (33 km) for breakfast and on to Axim (approx. 140 km). |
