Feel the heartbeat of Africa! Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced musician, immerse yourself in the energy of Ghanaian rhythms. Let go, move to the beat, and experience the unity of music and movement.
Our expert workshop leaders—talented musicians and dancers—will guide you in small groups tailored to different skill levels, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable learning experience for everyone.
Workshop Program:
Four to five days of lessons per week
Drumming & Percussion: 2 hours per day (or 1 hour of xylophone or bamboo chime drumming by prior arrangement)
Dance: 1.5 hours per day, always accompanied by a live drum orchestra
Singing & Rhythm: 1 hour, twice a week
Optional: Additional private lessons available on-site (€10-20 per hour)

Cultural & Nature Excursions:
- Day trip to Accra (by arrangement)
- Community tour of Nyanyano – Explore the village and meet locals
- Two-day trip along Ghana’s west coast: Visit the historic fishing town of Elmina and its iconic Portuguese slave fortress.
- Overnight stay in a secure treehouse in Kakum National Park or a nearby hotel
- Morning canopy walkway through the jungle treetops & nature trail
- Optional visit to Cape Coast museum & handicraft market (in the second week)
- In the third week: Excursion to the cocoa-farming village of Mesomagor (1.5 hours north of Cape Coast).
- Learn traditional processing of cocoa, palm oil, and cassava
- Taste freshly tapped palm wine & connect with village families
- Enjoy a lively bamboo orchestra, traditional storytelling, and cultural dance performance
(1-2 workshop days will be adjusted for this excursion)
Smaller local excursions (on teaching days): Visit Nyanyano fishing port, a nearby market, or Accra with local guidance. Participation in community celebrations when possible.
Fourth Week: Activities are planned individually before booking or on-site.

- Double room (or single room at an extra charge) at KASAPA Centre
- One night in a treehouse in Kakum National Park
- Two nights in a simple village guesthouse
